MIGRATION,WOLVES AND BUITRES
Any Saturday or another day of the week under reservation, you can enjoy this excursion dedicated to the nature, art and history of Caleruega in Burgos.
We will see the Castilian landscape and its caleroganos fields comfortably from a 4×4 until we reach the Mirador de la Torre, then we will cross the fields through the Cañada Real Segoviana to reach one of the most enigmatic cultural and pastoral legacies of the province, Loberas de Caleruega, where the Ecomuseum is dedicated to transhumance and the Iberian wolf.
For lovers of necrophages we have a surprise, we will go to the bird observatory located in a dovecote next to the Dune, there we will see the black vulture, the leonado, the Egyptian vulture or the kites.
In the Pudia and San Mamés Sites located in front of one of the oldest wineries of the Ribera del Duero, the royal wineries of Alfonso VIII, we will know the history of our ancestors.
We will reveal every secret of nature, we will know the geology, the flora and the traces of its fauna in the lagoon located next to the plain of the Bañuelos river.
And we will immerse ourselves in the Mediterranean mountain where we will visit authentic living monuments such as the centuries-old oaks of the ‘Hueca’ and ‘San Mamés’.
