FOOTPRINTS IN THE SNOW
PALENTINA MOUNTAIN NATURAL PARK
Can we imagine the life that has a forest, a meadow, a pile of rocks, or simply the hollow trunk of an old tree? How many animals have gone through the same path that we are going through?
Although we have walked many times in the same place, in most cases all this will have gone unnoticed for all of us.
Discovering or finding any trace or indication of the inhabitants of these places is a very difficult task.
The field is the field and most of the year knows how to hide its secrets. Why are you going to have to reveal them to us, without asking anything in return?
But let’s see what happens when those inhabitants face the coldest season of the year.
The snow cover that covers most of the mountain in the winter, teaches us how life that apparently the rest of the year is not seen, invites us to know its secrets.
FULL DAY PRICE

Our best ally, the snow, will unveil us through the footprints, like small micro mammals, like mice, squirrels, shrews, go from one place to another taking food from their pantries, or the largest, martens, martens, badgers , foxes, they are busy trying to hunt them.
The tracks of the herbivores, deer, roe deer, will also be visible in our tours, but there are some tracks, which all the previous ones do not like to find, we speak of the Canis lupus signatus, our Iberian wolf, who will walk with great cunning Attentive to everything that moves, and that is edible, and with some luck, in the most remote and hidden forest, the footprints of the great lord of the mountain of Palencia, the brown bear, entertained at this time in search of acorns and beechnuts under the white cloak.
