AUTUMN ON THE PALENTINA MOUNTAIN
The Palencia Mountain, after the “effort” of spring and summer, wants to start resting, but very slowly ….
From the highest to the lowest areas, oaks, beech trees, rowan trees, mostajos, hazel trees, birches, … that only a few weeks ago had an intense green, now it is turning into a very varied chromatism.
The yellows, reds, ochres, browns, dotted like brushstrokes the gentle slopes of the mountain.
The interior of the forest is slowly losing the canopy of leaves and is carpeting, as a carpet, everything that was in the branches, much of it energetic and rich food, for different animals, such as the brown bear, that at this time take advantage, acorns, beechnuts and other fruits, to be able to face the rigors of the long winter.
Villages, forests, mountains, meadows, autumn, very changeable in tones, and colors every day, invites for variety, to do some good sessions of photography, especially at sunsets.
