CHORRETON
Firm: Grass, leaf litter and stone track.
A chorretón is a waterfall, a small waterfall. We will start from La Buitrera, an active muladar where the Diputación feeds the griffon vulture colony of the area. We will descend next to an old shepherd shed, a place where they were sheltered from the inclemency with their sheep. We will cross the Sierra Mesada through its middle part, among pine trees and regenerations of beech trees. After a small ascent, we will look out over the viewpoint of la Brena, an unbeatable place to regain strength. We will return to the starting point for the most charming part of the route, a beech forest crossed by several waterfalls, where we will enjoy the tranquility of these forests.
