AFTER THE BEARING OF THE BEAR
In the Natural Park of Fuentes del Narcea, Degaña and Ibias, with the largest Cantabrian Brown Bear populations of the Peninsula and the best preserved forests of the Cantabrian Mountains; We found a perfect place to get lost and know the Bear’s Domains.
With this activity we intend to put ourselves in the shoes of a bear that is looking for another bear, knowing and exploring the territory in order to be able to see signs that indicate its presence.
For this we begin in the first hour with an attempt of sighting from a fixed point of observation, followed by an interpretive route, with a guide that will accompany the expedition from beginning to end, of a low difficulty so that it can be done by people of all ages (which can be variable depending on the preferences of the client) in which we will take a sandwich to eat in the bush and completing in the last hours of light with another attempt at sighting from a fixed observation point.

In Autumn the bear is feeding on fruits to face the harsh winter; in spring begins the zeal and has greater mobility so that along with the scant vegetation cover of the deciduous trees in these two seasons the chances of sighting are greater. In summer it is more complicated due to the vegetable cover although there are possibilities especially in July and August with the appearance of blueberries in the forest.
Especially in this activity the important thing is to enjoy exploring the territory in search of traces, marks on trees, hair and excrement that certify us the presence of the animal, since you can not guarantee the sighting of a wild animal in full freedom.
In specific cases and on request it is also possible to not make the route to invert the total duration of the activity in the attempt of sighting from a fixed point of observation. This possibility, being from a fixed point requires great patience and can become more boring, and although there are customers who demand it, it is only done on request.
The change in the structure of the activity does not change the cost of it, it is only an adaptation so that any client can enjoy it according to their preferences, tastes or possibilities.
