If the activity is carried out in the morning, we will first wait for wildlife sightings and then an interpretive itinerary of two or three hours and low difficulty, where we will discuss all the ethnographic elements, landscaping, faunistic and botanical that we find on our way and that make Somiedo such a special place. In the case of the route in the afternoon, the wait for wildlife sightings will be at the end of the interpretive itinerary. Waits are made at the first and last hour of the day, because they are the moments when the animals show more activity, and therefore the probability of observation increases.

“There are places that are not forgotten, one of the most sweetly recorded in my memory, is the Natural Park of Somiedo in Asturias.
Many years have passed since the first time, then I walked through the mountains without knowing that maybe I was walking on the footprint of the bear, my knowledge of the area was insignificant if we compare it with the richness of the place.
Over the years I have continued visiting, being the last times the most pleasant, surely the result of that every day I appreciate it more … both for the fauna and for the flora, both for the landscape and for its peasantry …
But I must admit that seeing in front of me a lustrous bear with her two cubs after spending a wonderful morning from mountain to mountain, marked forever my conception of so loved Somiedo “.
