THE REFUGE OF THE LAMMERGEIER

 

Through this 6-day tour, we will delve into the fascinating world of the most threatened vulture of our Iberian fauna, the Bearded Vulture (Gypaetus barbatus). Since 1986, no Quebranta was seen in our Andalusian Sierras, but thanks to a Project led by the Junta de Andalucía and through a Program for Reintroducing the species, we now have the opportunity to enjoy the presence of this species again. so beautiful and beneficial for our fields.

During our tour we will discover one of the most important Natural Parks of the Peninsula: the Natural Park of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and La Villas, where in addition to our Quebrantahuesos, they also inhabit a wide variety of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and a variety flora associated with them.

Day 1: Malaga Airport – Cazorla.
Day 2: Valley of the Borosa River – Closed of Elias.
Day 3: Guadalentín ravine.
Day 4: Lookouts and Tranco de Beas.
Day 5: Birth of the Guadalquivir – Buitreras del Chorro.
Day 6: Cazorla – Malaga Airport.
