The Anaga Massif is located on the northeast side of the island of Tenerife and is one of the oldest areas of the same, so it keeps wonders never expected by visitors who come to it.
With only 40 square kilometers less than the Teide National Park, Anaga is considered a Rural Park and Biosphere Reserve, housing plant species of the tertiary era in a landscape that is maintained by the trade winds and the humidity that these leave in its path .

FOREST OF LAURISLVA AND PEOPLES WITH CHARM, TABORNO
We begin our adventure with a stop at the Mirador de Jardina from which we can see the entire northeast of the island and Mount Teide.
Here we will make a historical and geographical introduction of Tenerife to then go to the starting point of our route.
The route is divided into two sections. An explanatory descent of the flora and fauna of the Laurisilva, forests of the tertiary era with majestic plant species. The second section, approaching the Roque de Taborno, has views of the sea and is practically flat.
This runs in a circular way around one of the most outstanding towns of Anaga, where the traditional customs of Tenerife, Taborno, are still preserved.
It will deal with the history of the region both pre-colonial and after the conquest.
Also talk about the Guanche culture.
It will offer a tasting of typical products at the end of the route, you can also learn about traditional customs such as the practice of the “salto del pastor” or the cheese factory. At the end, lunch will be held at a local food restaurant.
